Corporate and Agency Sales Manager (Maternity Cover) – Liverpool – £Negotiable
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Sales Manager who is looking to take on a varied and challenging role within the Conference Sales Team with a focus on the corporate and agency market. This is a FTC role lasting up to 12 months. The role is working 9am-5:30pm with some out of hours work expected with the role. The company offers Pension and free parking.
With responsibility for increasing sales revenue through engagement with agents and corporate prospects, managing existing accounts to nurture repeat business and acting as Ambassador of the Company to the rest of the Industry.
The successful candidate will be experienced in corporate and agency sales and have previously worked in the conference and events industry, managing client accounts.
Accurate report writing and a working knowledge of preparing proposals is essential, with responsibility to provide reports on activity and trends in the industry.
Day to day responsibilities will include contacting prospective leads, creating proposals, leading on and conducting client site visits through to contracting business. The ability to negotiate effectively is vital.
The ideal candidate will have experience of diary and yield management.
Problem solving ability, self-motivation as well as the ability to work as part of a team and independently are essential. The successful candidate will also demonstrate excellent customer service and communication skills.
