Our client is looking to appoint 2 new Assistants to join their busy Reservations Team. We are looking for two candidates – both positions are working 3 days a week, with one including a Saturday. The hours of work are Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm, and on Saturday 9am to 4pm, including a half hour unpaid lunch break.
Holiday entitlement is the statutory 5.6 weeks per year, pro-rata for a part time person.
This role is primarily focused on dealing with inbound customer enquiries. The majority of customer contact is via the telephone, but also includes postal, email and face to face encounters. To be considered for the role you must be able to demonstrate a confident and efficient telephone manner, in a customer service environment. Previous Travel experience would be advantageous.
Customer enquiries will predominantly be in relation to :-
* making a new booking for a holiday, mini break or day trip.
* to pay balances for existing bookings, ask questions about a booking, holiday itinerary, requesting a brochure, etc.
There will be some outgoing calls made being made to customers when necessary.
All customer bookings are made and managed through a unique reservations software. Ideal candidates will be computer literate and will confidently be able to navigate around a Windows based system, however full training will be provided.
In addition to the general outline above, the Reservations Team may undertake additional duties, at the discretion of the management team, as and when required.
